In the Thick of It

Driving through Sequoia National Park in mid-May the weather changed within a few minutes. Taking the road to Crescent Meadow, I was compelled to stop and walk a bit. Just a short way off the road was this scene. It was perfect.

At the Non-Catholic Cemetery in Rome you will find some wonderful old tombstones and monuments that are pure works of art. This angel is stunning and she truly captures the sorrow and pain of losing someone you love. Melancholy but beautiful.

Cold, Wet Spring

After a wet winter small waterfalls flow out of the mountains and rocks spontaneously. This one was along the side of the road in Sequoia National Park.

Driving Highway 49 north of Mariposa, you will find this beautiful bridge spanning across the water.

This beautiful old bridge is located on Highway 49 north of Mariposa. This old highway is a great trip and runs through California Gold Country. It is worth the drive!
